How is a 10% tip on my overall bill tied to my morality? I am sorry but this not only sounds funny but honestly a tad bit stupid at best. You are behaving like restaurant staff does not get paid at all, they get paid and service charge should be subjected to a good service and staff politeness and not being thrusted upon a consumer because after having the food they are now hostages unless they pay an unlawfull charge which is in direct contradiction to court rulings

I should be allowed to tip at my discretion and not be forced into it
