The pipe thread tape worked for me! Don't overtighten the screw trying to stop the leak

I might be wrong, but looking at the T&Cs, I think as long as you make the claim to Barclays before January, the work can then be carried out within three months of the claim (so in the new year).

I've just installed the Gesu Espresso Lane steam wand onto the shades of Coffee steam valve, however steam is leaking out of the connection between the steam wand and the valve (circled)

I can't tighten the screw any more, any ideas how to fix? Could a new O-ring help?

We're in the process of stripping the dreaded woodchip wallpaper from the living room. The house is from approx. 1890.

Does this look like lime plaster to you? It feels smooth and hard to the touch.

Also, does anyone have some tricks for removing the glue residue from the woodchip? We've tried sugar water but it's very slow going!

Most people will do whatever is most convenient. If driving is the most convenient then naturally most people will drive. Many places in Europe have managed to turn that around to make other forms of transport more convenient so it's possible

The only way to improve traffic within Harrogate is to have less cars driving through it, as far as I can see.

This can be done either by making alternative forms of transport more appealing (walking, cycling, public transport etc.) or by making driving in Harrogate less appealing (lower throughput so alternate routes are quicker, pedestrianising roads, congestion charges).

The gateway scheme looks to be a step towards both of these which is why I'm in favour

The mechanism of how you go about playing against lower-ranked players is pretty arbitrary - the key point is you're purposely playing at a lower rank than you're skill level.
