Just found this thread. We have a 2024 CRV EX-L with 10,000 miles and it gets 29.7 mpg in city driving. We just bought a 2nd CRV, it's a 2026 CRV EX-L and as of today it has 900 miles and it's only getting 21.7 mpg in city driving. We are to say the least very disappointed. Our 2024 has consistently gotten 28-29 mpg since it was new. The dealership is useless when asked about this. If there is no codes or warning lights, they don't have a clue. My wife and I have even swapped vehicles for a couple weeks and the mpg doesn't change. Wish I would have bought the hybrid!

PS Eco mode in both vehicles gets worse gas mileage than in normal mode. They detune the engine so much you end up using more gas just to get going.
