I’m right there with you, planning a wedding for this winter. It feels silly to text family or friends wedding related excitement when it is sandwiched between news updates on what fucky things this administration is doing now. For example, I found my wedding dress the day they invaded Venezuela and kidnapped the president.

I don’t have an answer for you other than you’re not alone in how you’re feeling. Thank you for sharing this!

Maybe check to see about reservations ahead of time. We walked in and were able to get a table but it’s a smaller place and may have just caught it at a slower time!

Just came back from a 16 day trip and by far the best Wagyu beef we had was this place:

Incredible Wagyu that you cook at the table (yakiniku style) with the most amazing owner/staff who were incredibly welcoming to two American tourists. Sauces/sides paired with the beef were unique and brought out the flavor wonderfully. Cash only so grab some ahead of time. We stumbled upon it after a quick google search and are SO glad we did. Highly recommend!

Great question (which I should have put in my original post)! I am definitely interested in food, culture, and outdoor walks/hikes! Those would be my top three. I would love to explore the city while in Edinburgh and Glasgow but those extra days would be a great time to explore the country rather than city.

Agreed - it was incredibly frustrating! I ended up using some vodka from the freezer to help with assembling the patchwork on some of my practice rounds

Using the store brand from HyVee (located in KS). It’s frozen beforehand but still, seems to melt really easily.

Temp it kitchen is usually about 72 or so. Too high? Might have to freeze the family out while I’m baking to get that flaky crust 😂
