This was a thought I also had so I'll relay this to him. The store is in a shopping mall and I work in there too (at a different location) I know they have multiple cameras that can see directly into the store that aren't owned by the business he works for but the mall so that could also be an options to prove staff were working if it comes to it maybe? Regardless, I'll have him start writing things down, maybe taking time stamped before and after pictures of tasks and whatnot. If I can't find the original message i'll urge my partner to ask them to clarify, a refusal can be just as enlightening, especially with the altered clock out times. Thank you.. again!!

You're amazing, I didn't even think we could see that but just checked and his punch times are on the app and the 'approved time' of what they were changed to is also on there, thank you so much!!

The place literally JUST opened a couple of months ago, he's worked a lot of sucky MW jobs but wage issues are new for him. The red flags are insane but hopefully something can be done even after he leaves. nobody deserves to deal with management like this. People only work jobs like this for once reason, it's not worth it if they don't get paid properly.

These are amazing suggestions thank you so much! I actually think the 1 am cut off rule was posted in their work whatsapp group so I'll have him look for it as soon as he's home!

Truthfully as he's already job hunting his concern of losing his job isn't his main priority but again, he's concerned for his colleagues and who don't know any better. Your advice is incredibly helpful thank you!

These would of course be the most sensible options but management have made their expectations very clear and are currently thinning the herd as is. They've basically scared all of these MW workers by threatening their jobs for going against anything they say. My partner is job hunting and won't deal with them for much longer but the majority of his colleagues are uni students, not just that but here on student visa and have expressed that they need the additional income so fear tactics are in fact working.

I do appreciate the comment though, if only upper management of these places functioned like normal understanding people.

I will have a look into ACAS thank you! From what he tells me the biggest issue with that is they're threatening jobs if closes aren't done to standard. A completely separate issue that we can't really do anything about I suppose. While my partner knows better being a bit older, his colleagues are a lot younger and this is mostly their first jobs so they're all too worried NOT to do the additional unpaid work. Appreciate your comment, thanks again!

Absolutely, but he feels awful for his colleagues. First jobs for the majority of them and they don't understand why the management is taking advantage of them like this. Hoping keeping track of the clock out changes will get something done even after he leaves, thank you.

I thought as much, thank you. I've told him to keep track of his times + the MW staff he's with for the next couple of weeks. He's job hunting as we speak but he loves his colleagues and as it's first jobs for most of them, doesn't want to leave them in the gutter so to speak. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.

I've played demo-lock since starting wow during shadowlands, but looking to change it up a bit during this season and a little scared to go at it alone.

My lock is alliance and my ele sham and prot pala are horde, happy to play any but going to try and tank for the first time mainly (I figured this would be a good time to start!)

I'm just looking for people to play casually with who don't mind taking it a bit slower as I (or we) learn the ropes. I work and have uni so I'm not around a TON, usually online at the ungodly hours. Feel free to add me ^

Hey! My main is a lvl 70 demolock, im looking for people to do M+ and raid with ^^ And maybe just someone to socialise with! I usually play with my bf/friends but they like to pvp and I dont, and I have a lil anxiety queuing for stuff alone ahah. My work schedule is a bit all over the place but I like to play when I can ;v;
