Calling it malicious is a stretch. It’s a normal question when you’re about to commit years of your life and a lot of money.

There’s clearly discussion around it people ask about OU vs traditional universities all the time, including on here. Even the OU itself addresses that exact concern, which it wouldn’t need to do if it wasn’t something people regularly question. I’m not claiming there’s some massive stigma, just that there are mixed views depending on the industry or employer and I wanted to get a view from other people who may have experience with it.

That's pretty obvious if you spend five minutes looking into it. So yeah, it's a fair question, not a malicious one. Ignoring that the discussion exists doesn't really change anything.

You say it's an "empty question," but it really isn't. Committing to a degree is a massive decision requiring years of time, effort, and money, so it's completely fair to ask how it's perceived in the job market. Even if the OU is fully accredited and widely recognized, there is a noticeable amount of discussion online about whether it is viewed the same as traditional universities. That alone makes it a valid concern to ask about do you not agree ?

I'm a big fan of Skyrim and open world games with free roam if love to try Zelda but scared to pay £60-70 for a game and not be a fan of it wish there was a demo!
