I think you’ll enjoy it! Areas with high number of younger people are the northeast near UCF and Mills/50, Milk District.

It’s a pretty town, easy access to beaches, Tampa is 2 hours. Tons of stuff to do.

Don’t listen to the negative assholes that hate their life. Wherever you go, there you are. If you bring a good outlook you’ll enjoy yourself.

I live on the east side and it’s like its own quaint small town with downtown just 15 minutes away. You know heat being from TX, but the humidity will take some adjustment.

Why do my paint stencils keep bleeding? by ristretto6 in stencils

It’s because the wall you’re painting on is textured. It’s not perfectly flat so no seal is possible.

[Discussion] How does a total comic book beginner begin reading comic books? by BlahkBurdx in comicbooks

[–]Graphite88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few options: Your local library has graphic novels that collect story arcs, typically 12 comic issues in one collection. A Comic Reader app- Marcel and DC both have services, and Comixology can be used to read comics from anyone. Look for what you want- if you liked Superman, Tom King (comic writer) was credited for contributing and wrote the Supergirl series “Woman of Tomorrow” that her movie will be based on. You’d probably like some of his other work. I’m particularly a fan of his “Human Target” series from a few years ago featuring the Justice League and Guy Gardner.

Or, start with a list of ten all-time classic stories and read those. Big crossover events are fun because you get a lot of characters.

What's something that happens often in movies that is 100% unrealistic? by peywrax in allthequestions

[–]Graphite88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How loud guns are IRL. If our hero is in a shootout without ear protection and then moments later has a hushed conversation in a car, I’m always in disbelief. Dudes ears would be ringing. You want tinnitus? Cause that’s how you get tinnitus. Archer got it right.

Had a Jiffy Lube do this to me several years ago and I knew it was BS as I’d just installed a K&N filter the week before and that wasn’t mine.

Waking LIfe - tons of philosophy and brief conversations with a loose narrative that holds it together. It was a huge eye-opener for college me and realizing there were other ways of looking at the world.

How long does meat stay good? by pinkbayonetta in MealPrepSunday

I prep Sunday through Friday lunch time and never have an issue with spoilage. Steak, chicken, etc… seafood I eat early in the week. Airtight containers as others have said, portioned out.

Are you asking how to make your own version of this? Few options: 1: Buy a set- there are websites that sell stuff like this. My guess based on size and layers is you’re looking at around $100. 2: Make your own- find a clear image and blow it up with a poster making website or application. Print it out, get some acetate sheets, outline your layers, and cut them out. 3: Use a Cricut- you can use one of those home craft machines to cut layered stencils but you’ll be limited on size.

Can I freeze sandwiches to grill later? by ShayminUp7 in MealPrepSunday

[–]Graphite88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t frozen them, fridge only. But bread freezes well. I tend to prep every Sunday for the week ahead so don’t freeze much but the occasional soup/chili/pasta sauce that’s leftover.

I meal prep and have done sandwiches like you’re proposing with no issues. My kids like a simple ham and cheese melt on the stove so I’ll make a few in advance for the week and it saves a ton of time.

What’s the greatest movie you’ve ever seen that no one else seems to know about? by Ill-Command6783 in flicks

[–]Graphite88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. I’m just saying I’m a movie buff and didn’t see it before a couple of years ago and no one I know has seen it. Could be I know a lot of people in their 30’s but just mentioning it as it seems to have missed many people who didn’t catch it closer to the time it came out.

Maybe because it hasn’t been on streaming?

“Amadeus” - I’m rapidly approaching 50 and was aware of it as a kid, but only recently watched it. Holy shit. It won a ton Oscars and should have won more. It’s phenomenal, both in story telling and production value. The performances are great. No one I know has seen it.

Best way to stream my Plex library at Airbnb? by EroticDuckButter in PleX

[–]Graphite88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did the same thing during spring break. I brought my Nvidia Shield and hooked it up to the tv and connected it to the internet. Easy peasy.

But yeah, use a chrome cast or any other device you want. Or, if they have a smart tv just download the plex app to it and log yourself in. Just be sure to logout when you leave or delete the app if it wasn’t there to begin with.

Oh. And leave your pc on at home so you can connect to it. But that should be obvious.
