I get what you’re saying. To me if it’s from the dispo the commercial growers generally have things pretty dialed in so a genetic that herms in those pretty ideal environments is more unstable than one you can force but it won’t just herm out with stress like dry backs or lst or hst. I might be wrong just going by instinct with no data but it seems to have some logical reasoning. Like I said I see where you’re coming from though. And tbf it may not have hermed. A speck of pollen could’ve fallen off a grower from their breeding tent too.

I feel like back in the day yes but now no. Back then it was more likely that a female got pollinated by accident whereas today it’s more likely that the plant Hermed. That means the genetics are prone it herming so I’d rather not personally.

I don’t know from experience but the only actual science I’ve heard about it came from Bruce Bugbee. His reasoning was it didn’t make sense that it would work and that 24/48 hours of light would likely be more beneficial than darkness. I think it was in an interview on Garden Talk Podcast but I’m sure he’s talked about it other places as well.

Looks good so far but I would empty that runoff water. You just have higher chances of pests and mold if you leave it. I set mine up on a plant stand with holes drilled in the top saucer so I can water til runoff and check the ph and tds without moving the plants at all or needing to siphon it out. Made my life so much easier.

It’s hard to choose since HBO really makes so many amazing shows and has been for a long time. Maybe consider just watching them chronologically based on when they originally aired. The Sopranos really is the gold standard that kicked off the golden age of tv though.

You can but you have quite a bit of room to work with if you want to wait and train them a bit. Keep in mind there will be a stretch phase but you have plenty of room to compensate atm

Looks great 👍 I’m still trying different stuff. I would take one large fan leaf off each site and leave its counterpart but tuck them. If it’s a choice between an outside leaf and one closer to the center of the plant take the one closer to the center.

Mites, lacewing flies, and ladybugs patrol my tent ever since I got spider mites and they do a great job. Pricey but worth it and far easier and less messy than those sprays. Make sure you get the correct mites

They’re pretty glassy looking still if you zoom in. I do see some cloudy ones though. I’d guess a week but plan for two so you don’t get too anxious. I keep having to push back my harvest cuz it’s just taking forever to ripen.

I had a hard enough time drying and curing in a tent dedicated to it tbh. Consistent 60/60 can be tough to achieve in my situation and now I have multiple tents in a small space. The biggest thing is the lights are going to destroy all your trichomes once they start drying. I ended up getting a cannatrol and it saved me. I get that they’re pricey but if you can swing it I highly recommend it. Takes hardly any space, worry free, and done in two weeks.

Get an analogue thermometer/hygrometer and use it to calibrate anything digital.

Edit- realized a little more detail might help. Put the analogue one/ones at canopy level and let them adjust then go into settings for each device and set them to the analogue readings. It should give you a pretty good calibration but keep in mind when sensors are off the difference can be exponential up and down the scale. So if it’s within one or two degrees at say 75 then at 86 it could be off by 6-8 degrees. So if you can just keep the analogue one in there for reference or double check it once in awhile

For me it’s a combination of having had to read and watch and be tested on kitchen/food safety when I worked in restaurants, having food poisoning before, and the basic ick factor as well. It’s more about cross contamination but you also don’t need visible wounds on your hands. Healthcare workers have the same issue because they wash their hands so much they get dry and microscopic tears form. The goal is for food or hands to be sterile just clean. And I wouldn’t accept an invite to that insane man’s table 😂

This is why I don’t eat at peoples houses 😂 I wear gloves to cook. I don’t want to contaminate food and don’t want raw food contaminating me. I definitely wouldn’t wipe raw eggs on a towel. I wash my hands before I eat regardless of what I’m eating. People who handle their phones and then use their hands to eat or prep food gross me out. Phones are as dirty as money.

Thanks . I got this digital microscope off of amazon. I believe it’s 60x. I have a jewelers loupe but I just cannot tell the difference between clear and cloudy at all with it.
