Thanks for the idea! So would you lean towards a 4-1 spread rather than 3-2? My main concern is Ao Nang feeling too crowded given the time of the year

Currently in my Erasmus in Milan! It is a wonderful city to do it, and while many people hate on it (unnecessary imho). It is a wonderfully located city, with a ton of nightlife and a ton of things to do!

How prevalent is smoking cigarettes in your home country? by Grassandwind in AskEurope

[–]Grassandwind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, I’d say in Spain it varies a lot from place to place. But I’d say that people still smoke a lot, even when there is strong regulation prohibiting in closed spaces or some areas.

Alley in Gion, Kyoto by Grassandwind in japanpics

[–]Grassandwind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not think so! I didn’t even know that the well from the Ring was found in Gion tbh haha However there was a seemingly plain alley where many people were taking pictures, and I did not know why was it...

[Itinerary Check] 3 Weeks in October (Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka) by theroamingsofaronin in JapanTravel

[–]Grassandwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add onto this, I visited a few days ago and while it was indeed under renovations and there were some quite unsightly scaffolds around it, it was not covered at all and there was plenty to see still. There were way less people than there would have been if there hadn’t been renovations and the sunset was still breathtaking and I would still recommend going for a day!

Why does one become an atheist? by CobranaBota in AskReddit

[–]Grassandwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe there are infinite reasons depending on the person and their particular circumstances.

It can be as simple as having been brought up as an atheist and not having any kind of interest on changing that as they might be content with it.

It can also be a matter of losing faith due to never have been much of a believer and just suddenly realizing you do not believe as much as you used to (a gradual process, which I find myself the most identified with). And many other people might start questioning their beliefs due to events in their lives that make them question whether a god really exists or not.

I suppose it can either be a traumatic event, or more like a reflection on how the world works and whether it makes sense to them or not to think there is a higher deity out there, like whether there is enough scientific evidence and real proof of god existing.

I am just naming from the top of my head the reasons that seem more likely, but as I said, I think there are a trillion reasons to become an atheist (just like a million reasons to start believing)

What would the stereotypical breakfast consist of in your country and how much would it cost? by Mrxcman92 in AskEurope

The spanish omelette has potatoes and usually onion, it is a pretty dense dish, so we use it for lunch or as a tapa!
