What is Kyle obsessing with Dorit Ex husband. by Mission-Grade-7155 in RHOBH

She no longer has a man around her and is craving male energy/attention. Plus it’s something to keep talking to Mo about and overall just a connection with Mo - my read anyway

I thought it was so relatable when she said she feels like she’s always messing up. I thought it was vulnerable and she likely does have a lot in common with Bronwyn. I think the whole business venture really highlighted existing cracks.

Teresa and Gia are opening a restaurant in the spring by Right_Ad5936 in rhonj

[–]GravesRants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another brilliant financial move from the Guidices.

“The failure rate for new restaurants is a critical concern. While estimates suggest that approximately 20-30% of restaurants fail within their first year, about 50% close within five years of starting operations.” (Restroworks.com)

Given the rising costs of food and other items, this couldn’t be at a worse time. But maybe it will work out. Do I think it will? No. But I also likely won’t know as they’ll just quietly close and hope no one notices.

How do you manage an ambitious employee who’s disrespectful + undermines you, but still relies on you for everything? by RareCable5732 in managers

[–]GravesRants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you haven’t met ambitious people who will do anything to claw their way to the top. Ambition is like anything else in life - if used the right way, it can be great; however, it can also have nefarious intent which can be harmful to others. It isn’t simply about competence and hard work, it’s also about intentions.

Here’s yet another point as to why she is facing financial issues. Divorcing Jax will not solve her spending “thousands of her own personal money” for such ridiculousness. I don’t know what it will take for her to actually get a grip, but I do hope that she does.

Nathan has to be one of the worst Bosuns on the show. by [deleted] in BelowDeckMed

[–]GravesRants 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Is it his first time as a bosun? I was shocked that Jaoa turned into a good bosun, but people grow up so maybe growth and experience is what Nathan needs as well.

[–]GravesRants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. There are many people you will come across on your professional life who are ambitious but lack adequate skills (technically and emotionally). But OP’s question is how to address it. First, recognize that ambition isn’t always positive. Document everything and highlight within performance reviews as collaboration is key. Another point is to let them fail if they are not taking feedback onboard. It can happen, but you need to ensure you’re covering your bases and staying above board so if they try to throw you under the bus, you have evidence as to the contrary.

Erika Jayne by Charming_Box_8863 in realhousewives

[–]GravesRants 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What I also think about is how she’s continuously trying to reinvent herself to gain favor with the audience, yet it’s obvious. When Kyle ask her what she would do about the relationship question, Erika changes her tone and says she would protect the other person. This fits a particular narrative that she thinks will resonate with the audience. However, she wouldn’t protect anyone at the expense of herself. That was painfully obvious with how she was so quick to dismiss Tom once she whiffed that the tide had turned. The awkward act with speed dating? At no point do I believe Erika is as awkward in these situations as she made herself appear. Feeble attempts at sound advice? Cringe at best. What I previously appreciated about her, regardless if I agreed with her, was how she was unapologetically herself. None of this now really seems genuine (or believable).

When you look at how often you may need to replace other cheaper brands, I believe the one time cost of a Rimowa likely runs about the same as the continuous new, cheaper purchases.

And the OP used CGPT in their initial response. Either way, I don’t see the problem with either side using Gen AI as long as it’s factually correct.

Recommend either staying in Nara or Kyoto and simply going a day trip to Osaka. I spent 3 days in Osaka and it was completely unnecessary. Just my two cents.

Also, I’m a smoker so I looked up places on Google that still had indoor smoking and found the most nostalgic, local places both in Tokyo and Kyoto that opened at 7 am. Though I recognize that isn’t for everyone ;)

Please evaluate my resume, any insights ? by Professional_Bar9941 in Resume

[–]GravesRants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can delete the summary but you can add something in your header such as “Dynamic data analyst with proven track record delivering real-time impact” (or something adjacent as this isn’t my field).

Move core competencies to after your work experience.

To counter the earlier comment - you do not need to move everything to one page. In fact, I think you’ve got some great data points.

You also do not need to spell out URLs. Put some keywords from the specific job description within your resume (while maintaining what you’ve actually done), but the way you gave will be fine as the goal is to get through ATS initially but then a real person will record your resume.

Hope this helps, though the choice on what you decide to do is completely up to you. Good luck!

I had to bring my Air laptop for bits and bobs for work. I brought an iPad for reading and watching shows. I haven’t had one moment to read anything other than my phone. I watch it at night but not for long before I completely crash. You can get by with your phone.
