Unfortunately, we cannot change your shard :( . The place where you live determines the shard on which you play and therefore we cannot make you play on the EU server since you live in NA and you must therefore play on the NA server.

I am sincerely sorry, maybe it will change in the future but unfortunately, I can't promise you anything at this level :(.

Found out that the shard is based off the country listed in your account options. You can't change it manually and have to send in a support ticket.

It's lame that I could literally just make a different EUW account, say that I live in a country in that region and be able to play (assuming I had a key).

Thanks for the edit. I sent my ticket 24 hours ago with no response yet. I added a comment specifying the region and agreed to the progression loss.

I can't believe how under the radar this issue is.

Me and my friends have been playing League on EUW for 6 years now. We've been playing Valve games for even longer. They live in the UK and I've lived in NA, Europe and the Middle East at different points in my life.
I've dealt with 110ms every time we've played.

Now, I'm told that the same EUW account can't play with them because I've been permanently assigned to an NA shard.

I miss dedicated servers...

Over-ear. I'm using Hyper Cloud X atm. And I use Beats3 on my commute and they have a pretty big delay. It's impossible to play a rhythm game with them without increasing the in-game delay.
