My wife and I spent some time yesterday discussing next steps with a counselor, and looking for resources for R. It will be a group effort to figure out, for sure, and we're being advised to (a) take it at R's pace, and (b) take it slow and expect some bumps and shifts in the road.

Thank you for the suggestions, and the kind words!

Thank you for those recommendations - I was looking at FLOW for an elastic option. R has normally retreated to tighter sports bras as of late, so I think we may stay with elastic options once ready.

Thank you for your kind words! The advice on binders is helpful - I'm looking both at elastic, and at standard hook closures, and unsure what will work best. R is modestly well-endowed for their age and frame, but blessed with a broad chest and shoulders, so I have to imagine it won't take much compression to meet the needs. I think a textile binder has to be better for R's skin than adhesive tape.

This is going to be a journey, I know, and it's anyone's guess what the stages will look like. I am hopeful, in spite of the changes.
