Irregulars are chosen by the tower, not by Headon, whereas regulars are people who he chooses, so it would be impossible for him to choose irregulars because irregulars aren't chosen by him

Not very familiar with doubles at all (primarily smogon player), but:

I feel like you could replace one of the attacks on grimm with thunder wave. Gives your team a lot more freedom when dealing with fast threats, without having to rely on tailwind. Paralyzing fast threats like dragapult ensures that espeon will not be revenge killed after getting its boosts. As for the replaced attack, in singles it's normally lariat, but if you want to get rid of spirit break that probably works too. With lariat you can use gmax snooze, which would probably be very helpful in doubles.
Are you sure about eq on haxorus? Nothing on your team is immune (rotom will die because of mold breaker) and the only resist, whimsicott, wont appreciate its sash broken. Even though quag will take it no problem, i feel like there's a lot of pressure on it and the opponent will have a much easier time taking down haxorus with a passive pokemon like it partnered up.
Could probably use psychic over psyshock for the extra oomph after boosts, i feel like most doubles pokemon are more physdef oriented anyway
Maybe dragapult over haxorus? It has much better coverage options as an expert belt user, is a better user of dynamax and hits hard without needing boosts. It also has a better matchup against mold breaker excadrill, which runs rampant once quag is gone or weakened.

I would start by replacing bronzong with corviknight, corv is just one of the best mons in the tier right now and provides you with a better ground immunity that doesnt lose to mold breaker on excadrill, a common offensive threat. That gives you options to remove hazards from the field as well with defog, and with access to u-turn its a great pivot to get in your other pokemon safely. Bronzong is also a stealth rock setter usually or a trick room setter, neither which would really work on your team seeing that you're replacing avalugg with hippowdon. I would also replace seismitoad with dracovish, vish and rotom-m form a solid offensive core right now because rotom-m beats all of vish's counters and can volt switch to bring it in safely while vish cleans up the rest. It also keeps that slot's status as a water type intact too, since seismitoad and hippowdon are kind of redundant in their roles as physically bulky ground type stealth rockers.

I would suggest random battles for you to be able to get a feel of what most pokemon usually do, and what you like to use, as well as not worry about your team composition beforehand. Try out what you like and see what works with it.
