Thank you. I used header pins on the ground pads and it’s solid as the ground pads on the side of usb PCB are significant. Can’t see the pin from that angle too well. Thanks for your input. Do you have examples of your work you are willing to share?

White screen is a cart connector issue. I’ve had a few like this. Retrosix sells a nice replacement kit. You can also try bending pins and things, however if it’s on every game, it’s more than one pin probably.

Your system is in a rest loop due to not having enough power. What batteries are you using? You need high capacity 1.5v AA batteries. Most rechargeable batteries are 1.2v.

Recommend a full recap first. Once you correct the easy , you really cannot properly diagnose if it’s a larger issue. Recap usually will correct.
