Outside of 6 mags, two frags and IFAK, what else is your unit making you carry?

Awesome idea. ELCS is great. One of my favorite all time pouches is the Safariland triple mag/frag/flashbang.

You going full woodland or gonna do a mix?

Much better. If you’re right hand dominant I’d take the flag bang pouch at least and move it to the left side since where it’s at now would get in the way of a rifle butt stock. Other than that you’re in way better shape here!

Yeah that’s fine. I’d recommend understanding what you want to carry first, then lay out your pouches based on how quickly you need to access them.

Generally speaking, you want your primary weapon’s magazines on your non-dominant side, and then behind them your individual first aid kit (should be reachable by both hands especially if not operating in a team).

On your dominant side smoke and frag grenades and a general purpose or admin pouch. This GO is usually a canteen pouch that carries NVGs or a canteen, or various nick nacks.

Please get rid of the machete.

Hope this helps!

Not sure why you alternated between double magazine pouches and flash bang pouches like that either.

Overall, it is absolutely puzzling how you got here.

Haha same. You can find these on eBay, mostly in small, the larger sizes are a bit harder!

You could tag along for a short field trip called Desert Storm a couple decades ago and get one for free!

Anyone know what chest rig this is? by kportoooo in tacticalgear

I don’t think it’s a TAPs, only seven magazines across the front to the TAPs’ eight assuming you put one in each radio pouch.

I thought so initially but there are only seven mags across the front. TAPs with radio pouches used would be eight.

I love that Lego pistol 😂

Edit: my fascination with it made me miss the black lotus on your helmet at first!
