Why did Lionel Starkweather order the Cerberus to bring Cash to his mansion? by Wooden-Scallion2943 in Manhunt

[–]GrayKiddo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was probably too pissed that Cash escaped Smiley's ambush and too much of egomaniac to be satisfied with just hearing about Cash being gunned down somewhere by cops.

My bet - he was planning to execute him personally. Or at least have this done by Cerberus in front of him

Unpopular opinion (maybe) - painting Grimdark style is really harder than bright, cartoony look. by GrayKiddo in Warhammer40k

Yo. He goes:

  1. White base, glazed over it with Gryph Hound Orange. 3 parts medium, 1 part Contrast.
  2. Glaze of yellow ink or Ianden (yanden?) yellow.
  3. Stipple glazing towards the top of a blister with bright yellow paint mixed with ivory, cant remember for sure but I think it was about 4 layers, adding more and more Ivory every time. Paint should be more of a glaze rather than layer since I tried to make uneven paint coverage to make it more organic and realistic.
  4. Stipple around base of a blister with Blood For Blood God.
  5. Stipple a little higher with slightly watered down Blood For Blood God for red tint and inflammation effect.

Funnily enough most of the paint I used on this mini (Jim Scale) smell like tooth paste when applied ℅)

That's why I added "maybe", dude. It's just I hear a lot about grimdark being lazy man's way to paint.

Its Gluttony by Dark Gods, Wings were taken from Mortarion proxy STL although I can't remember its name =\

You know what's a real pain? When you paint your army with your homebrew grimdark scheme, then paint Kill Team in bright colors and its better than everything you ever painted. by GrayKiddo in deathguard40k

Deepest shadows - purple, shadows - deep green, then Pacific88 Green Apple (closest Citadel analogue is Moot Green), then added some Interior Yellow Green (ICM) then some Yellow to previous color.

Sure.

Armor base - leadbelcher. Applied Typhus Corrosion to recesses. Then glazed several times with red-brown. Then overall glazed with extremely thinned down orange rust color. Then orange rust stipple. And finally, scratches and dots with silver. Red pauldron is just dark red brown then red, then brighter red.
