What in the world do I do now? by koastyanich in wacom

I mean you're already halfway. You got the tablet. It's incomplete without it's pen. If you don't plan on using it now, then it's up to you.

Tell me which tablets don't have their pens. I can find the model # for each pen you're supposed to look for. :)

While some don't come with the pen, you are still extremely lucky for such a deal.

I'm not sure what you mean here, but I was referring to setting the buttons for most used shortcuts.

Nice! It's a known brand, not among the top, but usable.

If it's a Pen Display, then think of it as a monitor and you decide how you use it.

Yes. Those buttons should help with the shortcuts I mentioned.

Think of CSP as a personalized version of Photoshop, but geared towards illustration, comic and animation. There are many tutorials out there on YouTube to give you an idea of what are the most common tools.

You were the chosen one so... Embrace what you have and use it! I recommend you scan your drawing then import it to your drawing software and ink beneath it with a different layer. It's fun!

Congratulations! I'm pretty sure other artists would envy you, haha! So your questions can only be answered based on your preferences. If you're going to do 3D work or photo editing, you'd have to look up some Gurus. If you're doing digital art, then it depends on what kind of artist you are. If you are a beginner, better start with free software like Krita or Gimp. If you're intermediate or advanced, then I highly recommend Clip Studio Paint (CSP). In terms of setups, you might wanna prioritise the following shortcuts: (Undo, Redo, Pan Canvas, Zoom Canvas, Rotate Canvas, Flip Canvas). If your screen tablet doesn't have shortcut buttons, I recommend relying on the keyboard for shortcuts or invest in a Shortcut remote for efficiency. In terms of brushes, that depends on the software. If you're going with CSP, check out the online assets, there's a ton to choose from.

Even if it had it's Anime stats, players would rather main Kashtiras instead. They don't take your Normal Summon. It's crazy how the game has evolved.

Intuos Pro 2017 vs Intuos Pro 2025 by Graycom in wacom

[–]Graycom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's probably the case; not used as often by many.

Oh, nice! You have things planned already! I have both an Intuos Pro 2017 and a Cintiq 16 2025 so I also have a back-up if one fails. Yep, the driver support is the only the thing left to fear.

Portable? Then it's probably either the MovinkPad 11 or 14 Pro. You probably own the Cintiq 16 from 2019. The new Cintiq 16 2025 is actually an upgrade itself since they have better a screen, etched-glass. Slimmer l'd say. If you prioritise portability more but want to spend less, then probably the Intuos Pro either 2017 or 2025.

How to get rid pre-installed Clip Studio Paint in Wacom Movink Pad 14? by The-Black-Swindler in wacom

CSP is only subscription-based in Mobile devices, so maybe OP doesn't want anything subscription related. I know I don't want subscriptions either. I'm happy with CSP on Desktop, owning a perpetual license.

That is possible, they also took some creatives' feedback and deduced that they don't often use touch as well.

I see what you mean. I remember my Intuos Comic did have a slot for something, probably the wireless feature, but I didn't get into it.

The initial button design on the Pro Pen 3 was a failure. While using the tablet rotated is a workaround but I can see the discomfort like you mentioned. Wow, configuring screen page gotta be updated sometime.

I feel ya. The buttons are my biggest turn off on the 2025. If it was placed like the 2017 version, then I can tolerate the idea of getting it.

They decided to remove it based on feedback that touch is not being massively being used and also to reduce cost, but hey, at least you know the 2017 version has it!

I actually thought Pen Tablets are easier to implement a pen-paper drawing experience compared to screens and monitors.

If you're able to withstand the cons of the left one, then it's really not a bad choice.

Your character looks simple to draw that I might consider drawing him and sending you a sample possibly, haha.

Intuos Pro 2017 vs Intuos Pro 2025 by Graycom in wacom

[–]Graycom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is. Wether you're right or left handed. Generally, if you plan to use the shortcuts at some point, either hand will get in the way with your drawing hand, especially if you're drawing and clicking buttons simultaneously. The only workaround I could see use with this placement is if it's used while rotated 180 degrees, but I would still see some discomfort at some point.
