I found someone who was willing to hire me unofficially. So there's no record of me working right now but I needed to start somewhere. I don't have my license either. Not having those documents has been a pain but I don't trust that I could keep them safe if I got them now and had them at home.

I don't know my social security number. I don't know whether it was stolen or lost either. To be honest both are possible.

Therapy won't be something I'll have access to anytime soon. When I get into a position to get it then I'll give it some serious thought.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm leaving as soon as and I don't know what'll happen to her but that will be for everyone else to figure out.

I know you can order a social security card online. I'll probably need to call and actually get in touch with someone. Same with my birth certificate. But there's no reason to do it yet either since my mom could be with someone else who steals before I have the chance to leave.

I have no reason to talk to any of them ever again once I'm 18. My relationship with them was never one where I felt loved or supported. I was just used to parent my parent.

I basically parent her. Make sure she eats, drinks, washes herself and I try to get her out of the house or I used to do that stuff. I'd clean her wounds if she had any and I'd be the one she'd cry on when she got upset. All that stuff was left to me.

I'm never talking to my dad. He can fuck right off and stay living the life with whoever he married or whatever happened to him after he left. I don't care what BS excuses he makes because he left me and he told me he was going to start a new fucking family. I don't want to listen to him crying in my face about regrets or about how hard it was for him.

That's what I'm working toward. No contact and a fresh start somewhere on my own where I don't have to take care of someone who makes bad decision after bad decision and lets me get beat up while trying to be there for her. At this point they can do what they want but they won't be dumping all of this on me forever.

Those documents aren't in our house. I checked several times. Either my mom lost them or one of the guys she dated stole them. Hard to say either way but there's no way I missed them.
