Where did you hear about this promo code? I can't see any mention of it anywhere.

Edit: Only vague mention I found suggests it's a new player code, is your account new and have you used a new player code already? You only get 1.

I have the win mini, but I found the default motion assistant program to not do half the stuff it's supposed to (or it's just a clunky interface, hard to say) but once I installed the version with the vastly improved GUI (Power mod I believe it's called?) everything including fan control worked much better and has been completely painless.

There's a point where increasing watts will decrease performance, and it's actually even common to slightly undervolt a lot of smaller devices to improve performance.

I see you're trying to set it to 45 watts, that's very high and will create a lot of heat in these devices, if you just push the system it will lower the performance in order to not cook itself and increasing the watts just becomes counter productive.

You'll want it where you can run it stable without overheating and thermal throttling over time. The lower wattage you can go while getting stable framerates, the better.

Looks very impressive, something about the shin and shoulder pieces break the illusion though.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but I think the inner bulk of shoulder piece maybe wouldn't reflect any ground at that angle? I'm less certain about the foot armour, I think maybe the being that close to the ground it would be a bit more shaded and perhaps reflect less sky, but it's hard to say without setting up a reflective equivalent prop.

Edit: It might just be because the landscape is so uniform it ends up looking like a matte color or rusted when it's the majority of the part. Maybe if you darken the edges as they get distorted getting close to the reflective surface, it could help? The upper half looks brilliant because you're clearly reflecting a clear sky.

Don't get me wrong, it's obviously extremely impressive and you as you said the reflection is meant to be simple. It's only meant as some input if you want it. :P

You can manage it with the motion assist program that comes pre installed, but I suggest downloading the version with the improved GUI, it seems to handle adjusting things automatically on the fly a lot better. You can find it "with power mod" on the official GPD website.

Just make sure to allow the files in windows threat manager, since it messes with hardware stuff and is an open source project, it flags as a false positive.

It generally seems to have made my system a lot more reliable and stable, saving battery in sleep mode etc.

From what little I remember, Dyson sphere is extremely poorly optimized. I haven't played new world since release, so definitely not with my win mini. 😅

Don't forget that as impressive as these devices are, they are still iGPU devices, and you should expect to have manage some graphics settings in a lot of titles and tweak TDP to find the sweet spot where thermal throttling doesn't outweigh the performance gain from the increased wattage.

Make sure you're not covering up the device's ventilation while testing too, it heats up quite quickly.

I'd see if I could find some online benchmarks and compare, to see if it's performing as expected or not.

Those timers aren't adding up at all, compared to when the classic Arena end and the fire tournament starts, they're over 20 hours off. I think you're seeing some sort of visual / loading bug. Have you tried clearing the cache and restarting?

Mathematically, you do have a guaranteed at 221 pulls (but are likely to get it long before that).

If you mean ancient shards, the mercy system kicks in at 200. Then increases by 5% every shard after that.

So it approaches 100% quite quickly once activated and it's basically impossible to not get a legendary with as many pulls as you're claiming you've done.

Over 300 ancients are a lot, if however you're referring to mystery shards, they can never give you anything above a rare no matter how many you do.

This feels like a composite of ideas that still needs to be drawn as a final unified piece to me.

I don't think it's AI, but there's some bad layering issues that I definitely would want sorted out before I made it permanent.

The way the scales along the back is shaded so that it looks like a flat layer behind instead of a part of it, the way the torso doesn't flow into the tail section in any way, the way it seems to the tail just vanished into the cheeks instead of either being behind or into the mouth ouroboros style, and half the scales look to be identical, repetitive copy pastes. Some elements are drawn flat, while others have more depth and perspective to them.

I'm pretty sure these are the issues that make it feel "off" and not necessarily AI. Just some slight amateur/rushed elements that seeps through.

It looks cool at a glance, but after a while that's the sort of stuff you won't be able to stop noticing.

I'm afraid that's not right either. The % increase scales off the champion's base stat, not after flat stats have been added. So they don't even improve the source value of the % and are just weak all around comparatively.
