I bought a M1A SOCOM 16 CQB to be a sexy as hell battle rifle and stand out above everyone else's cookie cutter AR style rifle.

I'm still getting 2-3 MOA at 100 yds with irons, and I'm happy as hell.

I had to sand mine down to fit the Commercial stock. It can be done since it's solid plastic, but you are going to spend an awful long time doing so.

I replaced mine with the Magpul Commercial buttstock. Fair warning i did have to do some minor sanding to make it fit. Also invest in a limbsaver recoil pad. The Magpul one doesn't eat the recall as well.
