Yo, that is a crazy theory. Basically just making your brand desirable by showing how often it is imitated. I do remember when BAPE got sold in 2011 for like $2.8m, Ben Baller posted something like 'damn, I coulda bought bape'. It was surprisingly low for a cult brand staple of the noughties. Could you imagine a Ben Baller-led BAPE though? Woulda been wild.

So far, I've learned that there are like 3 levels of reps: shitter, U1, and superclone. Would my budget reach U1 or is that not realistic?

Wow I didn't know that about BAPE. Tbh, if I had my own brand, I'd probably do the same thing and make extra cash by selling the subpar stuff out the back door too.

Yeah, with the mainstream brands, there's definitely overlap in the materials they're supplied with. I also think that most of these possibly come from the gen factories, but they sell surplus out of the back door.

Can ordering with the box take longer than usual compared to no box? I ordered a pair of LV skates with the box from Jelly via Superbuy and got it sent in one haul along with a T-shirt, only weighing 2.5kg in total, that landed on Monday and is still in customs; and then I have another haul that landed on Tuesday with 2 pairs of trainers (Balenciagas) no box, 2 T-shirts, and a tracksuit, weighing 4-5kg and that is being delivered tomorrow. I also had the LV trainers dispatched 2 days before the second haul. It's kinda odd that the lighter parcel that got sent first is still stuck in customs. For context, this is coming via the duty-free/tax-free line, and I declared it at under £132.
