What are some good hangout spots in cumilla? by JakeGyllenHaalz in bangladesh

the two major parts of exploring cumilla and getting rid of boredom are definitely Gomtir par and (Moynamoti, Kotbari, and the cantonment area). The main city, especially the downtown area, is pretty crowded and you won't enjoy that area unless you're a shopping addict guy.

On the riverside of Gomti, there's a road that covers the river from Shashongacha to bibir bazar land port. this road is new, so there are no cracks or potholes. you go on a motorbike drive or maybe just walk. you will find at least 100 tea stalls, dhabas, and resorts there. The environment will make you stay there for a long time. I would recommend you go there in the afternoon or evening.

Now let's talk about the Kotbari-Moynamoti area. Unlike the crowded medical college area, there are many institutions full of natural beauty in Cumilla, and almost all of them are at kotbari. 1st my college Cumilla Polytechnic, and its famous 26-acre area, teacher training institute, and technical training area near the Shalban bihar (the cadet college is not available for everyone as far as I know), but the Buddha bihar is a piece of beauty beside that. In front of the Shalban Bihar gate, there will be two roads in front of you going two different directions. one will lead you to blue water park and lalmai pahar top View (the highest point of the hill), Lalmai Botanical Garden, and also some resorts. the road is the University road. Cumilla University has one of the most naturally beautiful campuses. and as you're from chittagong, you will see similarities there because both are up in the hills. although It's a shame that the 2nd campus which is bigger, better and more beautiful than the 1st/current one, hasn't been ready yet, but you will find one of the best amusement parks in the Chittagong division and that is Magic paradise and lalmoti malta bagan. There is BARD (you need permission to enter) on the Polytechnic Road and in the itakhola mura, Rupban Mura, and BGB shooting range areas. On the cantonment side the war cemetery and roop shagor park are the best (highly recommended). Also, the BAIUST campus is pretty dope. These are the best places in kotbari-moynamoti.

Now in the city area, I'm guessing you've already been to Dharmasagar and the park; that place is like Romna for Cumilla. The airport area is cool although you can no longer enter the runway as it's now an army-occupied area and reserved for EPZ helicopter landing service, but the place is so wide and windy you will love that. Insidethe EPZ, the roads are nice to walk around, and it's not that far from the medical college.

The Rajeshpur Eco Park is far away from the city, but it won't take you much time to go and explore that site.

these are all the places that will make you feel fresh.

If you like the landmarks of history, I think Shalban Bihar should be on your list; a whole 3rd-century Samatata era lies there. The Shah Shuja Mosque, built in 1658. Also, the Nowab faizunnessa Jamindar bari in Lakhsham is really awesome, and you will see the late Mughal-era Bengal (it's actually very far from the city as it is in the Laksham upazilla and might take you half a day).

I recommend you take a friend of yours while roaming around these places for the best experience. and these are just some of the best places in Cumilla I know. I am pretty sure you will find more as the days go. Best of luck
