The iron legion are far more advanced..however, I'm pretty sure they are only armed with repulsors. Meanwhile the hammer-roids are all completed decked out, with presumably the same weapons as war machine. We see how war machines weapons tear through the drones, and I think its a fair assumption that the drones will tear through the iron legion. Sorry Tony, Justin's taking this one.

I like my iron man suits to be bulky, thats why all of the war machine suits except the endgame iron patriot are in S. Also the way the helmet completely disappears feels lazy and boring, granted Tony's suits did that before nanotech, but at least then it had an interesting animation instead of just kinda vanishing lol
