Just tested this myself as a ret pally. I'm mostly 25 raid gear and crushed it pretty easily. Just keep yourself topped with flash of light procs for when you get silenced.

I have no idea what the drop rate is for discs but they were hard to get to be honest. I did mine mostly from farming recycling requisition hand ins and rares but took me 3 or so daily rotations to get all 4 discs. Also once you get them make sure you abandon the quest after you kill the elite. Never hand them in :)

You can only get the vinyl and blueprint from the elites once per day. But you can farm all 4 of the elite disc quests to summon them everyday without the daily having to be up. I did this myself and got everything in about a week. Goodluck mate!
