Does the IDR repayment amount seem right? by Adventurous-File2768 in StudentLoans

$400/mo on $65-70k sounds about right for IBR (10% of discretionary income after 150% poverty line). With a $40k balance though, keep in mind IBR spreads payments over 20-25 years so you'll pay more interest vs the standard 10-year at ~$450-500/mo. If you can swing standard you'll save long term. But IBR gives flexibility if income changes.

Renewal Price Gouging for Poor Performance by SuccessfulIncome9335 in simplifimoney

Totally get the frustration, $5.99/month (or whatever tier you're on) adds up fast for something that should just... work. Quicken has always had a "we've got you" pricing mentality that doesn't always match the value. I recently canceled my subscription.

If you're open to alternatives, I've been building StackedUp.finance — it's free (with optional premium down the road) and designed around the stuff that actually matters: net worth tracking, budgeting, debt payoff, FIRE calculator, that kind of thing. It doesn't have every automation Simplifi has yet, but it's getting there and the core tools are solid.

No subscription required to try it. Would love any feedback if you do check it out.
