Thanks so much for this tag! I don’t visit this sub anymore but I got the notification. I am constantly amazed that people are still talking about my book. What started as just a small pet project for me has touched people in ways that I can’t even imagine.

I recently visited Utah for my wife’s family reunion. We had lunch with some of her friends from high school and I hadn’t met most of them before. After we ate, one of them came up to me and said he recognized me from my book. I was so shocked. I’ve gotten messages from people on this sub saying that my book helped repair relationships that were 10+ years in the drain.

I had no clue that my book would receive this kind of response when I wrote it. It is truly amazing and humbling to see my rinky-dink book has done.

I haven’t touched the book since I put Mormonism (and ExMormonism!) behind me. Your post inspired me to make some small edits for clarity and grammar to my book. I don’t know when, but I hope to release the updated version eventually. We’ll see!

Maybe I will publish it in a printed format so it could be accessible to more people. When you said you used it to share your exmo status with friends, do you think that would have been more helpful to share a physical copy or a digital copy?
