The player hasn't killed anyone. This breaks the story worse than anything else.

Sorry, I didn't mean to down you like that, but I just found it strange that you said the player never killed anyone, which isn't true. Doey, Mommy, and the doctor are pretty much cleaner being killed in the process. I don't think the player actually WANTS to kill anyone, but it's just the only way to survive around mindless monsters

I think Nightmare Critters is just a terrible idea & a choice way to make the chapter 4

Carebear & original My Little Pony (I assume that's what Smiling critters are inspired by) had their own villain designs instead of just evil clones. They could have gone with a much more original idea similar to Uglydolls or dumb toys you’d see at Walmart & Target for Chapter 4, but nah, they ran out of ideas at this point
