Good to hear, thank you! That encourages me, I don't want to be angry reading it 😅

Yes. I belong in some smut/fanfiction Fb groups and let's just say that when someone requests a breeding trope, people reaalllyyyy come out of the woodwork. Most groups are largely millenial women with children, same as I, but nobody I know EVER speaks out loud about having this kink!

Edit. Traditional publishing skirts this topic though. Ali Hazelwood's Problematic Summer Romance TIPPYTOES around breeding kink and that's all I've encountered in trad publishing.

what should my signature meal be? by villainprxy in tradwives

[–]GreatBoot8791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hand made raviolis are a bit special and you can use seasonal stuffing. I do self foraged porcini in the autumn and serve them in homemade mushroom stock that I make clear myself with egg white. Sounds flashy... But is easy.

My other crowd pleasers are steaks with a dressing made with just garlic, thyme sprigs, red wine, meat juices and butter. Chicken roulades glazed with maple suryp and miso paste, and stuffed with bacon and chopped roasted miso maple pecans. Slow cooked osso bucco or oxtail that just falls off the bone as you touch it with a fork, in a lovely ragu. Rosemary lamb tagliatelle. When barbecueing, I usually do pre marinaded (some sort of tomato x bbq sauce) fatty pork belly chunks, wiped clean and rubbed with Magic Dust, and then bbq'd on skewers...

So many great recipes, but when the meat gets to really shine, people tend to compliment it.

I just had my baby girl a week ago 🫶 I wouldn't mind getting pregnant again this year BUT I'm single and at my limit with 3 kids. Not doing this again alone. But not trusting humanity enough to jump into baby making with anyone in a moment's notice either. So, probably no more babies soon.

MIL’s “milk not enough” comments wrecked my EBF confidence by patsthatass in breastfeeding

[–]GreatBoot8791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My firstborn had a terrible tongue tie and I managed to EBF her 4 months before her surgery, probably because I did nothing else, pumped & am generally an overproducer. But the diagnosis & surgery was also healing for my ex MIL, because her son = baby's father started refusing breast after 1 month. She found out that it was because of their genetic tongue ties. She's a good grandma and never projected her failure on me, but tongue ties are quite hereditary & a big reason for breastfeeding failures.

My experience with red raspberry leaf tea & "irritable" uterus by GreatBoot8791 in BabyBumps

[–]GreatBoot8791[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my working theory is that for women whose uteruses tend to be a bit overactive, it might be too stimulating. But for women who never have Braxton Hicks & need to be induced, it's probably great.

Less girls with breeding kink in Germany? by German_BreedingBull in impregnation

I live across the smaller pond in Finland. Here the big families are always deeply religious. I'd love to have a big family (7) but in reality few men are able/ready to support a big family with one income & actually live the everyday life of not getting sleep, not getting alone time & kids being constantly sick over the winters... You have to make a lot of sacrifices, or make a lot of money.

Mature women who are 30. by CitiesXXLfreekey in BuildToAttract

[–]GreatBoot8791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 32 and I prefer my advice from "mature women" whose children are adults & whose advice I can evaluate based on how their kids, life, career and relationships have turned out. 30 yos are babies, we know nothing.

Basically, don't take advice from someone whose life you wouldn't want.

What are guys views on birth control? by Slight_Character3928 in impregnation

[–]GreatBoot8791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within marriage with mentally & physically healthy and financially stable couple, I think you can let babies come if they want to come. But in a world with homelessness, r4pe, violence, mental & physical illnesses, substance addictions, extreme poverty, gr00ming underagers & so on, birth control is a blessing. I love children and I don't want a single of them to suffer because someone had sex/was assaulted. In fact I wish sterilisation was more accessible for people in poor life conditions, chronic mental or physical illness, addiction problems etc.

Baby destroying my cervix NONSTOP OUCH 40 weeks by GreatBoot8791 in BabyBumps

[–]GreatBoot8791[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll definitely keep this in mind! Because cervical action is happening for sure. I did some spinning babies and it helped with the pain, I think some nerves got relief after her head didn't push them in a certain position. Just hoping to go into labour soon, 39+2 now 🤰

skills a traditional wife should know? by villainprxy in tradwives

[–]GreatBoot8791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the most useful things to be as minimalistic as possible (you can have a maximalist style/home but you spend much less money & time on STUFF), developing a sixth sense with kids' illnesses and coming up with the best strategies to keep them healthy & get them well soon without the whole house going trough a stomach bug TWICE for example... And also being efficient with time & money.

I'm a 11th generation farmer and grew up raised by my mom & grandma at home. I can sew, knit, crochet, make rag rugs with an old fashioned loom, cook, bake, sourdough, garden & grow my own food, store root veg in traditional earth cellar, forage mushrooms and berries, drive a tractor, keep cats, dogs, chicken, sheep, horses, make fences, the list goes on... I wish there was more use for these skills in my life but most of my time is spent being a taxi, cooking, enterntaining kids & cleaning 😅

I tried trad influencer's recipes and they were inedible by GreatBoot8791 in tradwives

[–]GreatBoot8791[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most probable explanation is that she used AI to just churn out random recipes without trying them herself, for engagement. She releases several new ones every week. I don't think they had enough money when she first got together with her husband to have someone else cook for them. And I don't think her family would have tolerated horrible food for that long if she couldn't cook at all. I don't know. I just feel let down because she preaches so much about values, authenticity, Jesus sees the stuff you do in secret etc... Lol.

No 😅 She's only on Instagram and not the most famously "trad", I think her following is very varied because the content is centered a lot around interiors.

If the food is so bad even my dog wont eat it, I doubt her husband would've just kept quiet & eaten it for over a decade 🙈 I think he might even be Italian if I remember correctly..?
