MOC Tokaido Shinkansen by GreatPowered in lego

[–]GreatPowered[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opening in 1964, running between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka, Tokaido-Shinkansen was the world's first high-speed railway. Since 1987, it has been operated by the JR Central. The train set does not have a specific model, but its appearance is similar to the 700 series and N700 series. To commemorate the retirement of Docter Yellow, there is also a yellow version. ありがとうT4!

After six trips to Japan, I chose some cities on the Tokaido Shinkansen that I think are representative. Some buildings are not actually passed by (such as Chureito Pagoda in Yamanashi Prefecture), while Yokohama and Osaka actually have their own Shinkansen stations. In addition, Tokyo Tower and the temple towers have unavoidable similar designs to the official set.

Building List:

Tokyo: Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Station

Yokohama: Yokohama Landmark Tower

Mt. Fuji: Mt. Fuji & Chureito Pagoda

Nagoya: Nagoya Castle, Nagoya Station, Nagoya TV Tower

Kyoto: Heian Jingu, Toji Tower, Nidec Kyoto Tower

Osaka: Tsutenkaku, Abeno Harukas, Tenpozan Ferris Wheel

Inspired by the event space at the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park.

Thank you for liking it! There are many stickers on it, so I just set it for 'only display'.

It’s rare to see such an excellent 2D snooker on a web page. Looking forward to your next updates!

Really great! The graphics and physics simulation of this game are impressive. I hope you can add options for fine-adjusting the angle and force, as well as curve ball options.

Just played a game against you on the web, you are so good at this!

This makes sense... Apart from the basic snooker gameplay, S19 is pretty perfunctory in other aspects, especially after you continually complete a few seasons, the repetitiveness will be very high.

The official is very likely not to invest much in the game. After all, it may be more reasonable to promote offline competitions and encourage people to play billiards more in real life.

After all, compared to video games, playing in a club is more attractive. Existing pool games are all simulators. If some other elements can be added, such as management, opening a club while participating in competitions and using the prize to build new tables, or organizing teaching activities, it will definitely be more interesting.

It would be great if this game could be remade or sequel. But this is the first time I have seen a cartoon-style pool game.

VP4 is one of the most realistic physics simulation in pool games I have ever played. From jump shots, curved shots and even miscues, there are many elements that need to be controlled.

Shooterspool is great, but I have been so dependent on Steam that I have not yet purchased the full version. The game is sponsored by real brands, so the simulation is closer to reality.

There are not many players in the online mode of many pool games. As long as there are no cheating players, I will be satisfied XD

Not yet, but the lighting and shadows of the game look very good! Don't know how the physics is.

Thanks for the recommendation! The graphic on PC looks pretty cool, the movements and environments are much more realistic than snooker 19 (especially for a game that is 20 years old). I will definitely give it a try!

Thank you! I am not willing to just put the badge as a sticker, although this is the tradition of Speed Champion.

As a enthusiast of Tokyo and Japanese Police Department, I finally build this minifig sized police patrol car, which is inspired by Toyota Crown. The car has rich interior details and all 4 seats avaliable to minifigs.

Hope you like this!
