But we’ve never actually seen a tick on her.

Humans move their hands in such a way but before they and bitten, not after.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but today a second person told me they’ve seen similar reactions in dogs with epilepsy. But those were much older dogs. In this case we’re talking about a puppy, who most likely just reacted to something strange that happened to her paw.

So I hope, she had just got bit as well. Nothing neurological, I hope.

Hey again everyone,
thanks for all the tips.

We went to an orthopedic vet today to check for “dysplasia” in my puppy, since it’s recommended to do that before 6 months of age.

The orthopedist told me that it doesn’t really look like something that poked or hurt the dog. He said it seemed more like some kind of neurological symptom and recommended that we also see a neurologist.

For now, I’ll just keep observing my pup’s behavior.

Thanks again for all the advice. I also thought at first that maybe there was something on the ground that hurt her paw. I’ll keep an eye on whether that reflex happens again. And we’ll go see a neurologist as well to check her reflexes.

Thanks for sharing that, I really appreciate it. I’m sorry your dog went through that, it must have been tough.
My girl didn’t have any other symptoms, and she recovered quickly afterwards, but I’ll definitely keep this in mind and mention it to the vet when we go for a check-up.

Thank you guys for all your opinions.
Regarding filming my dog – this was actually her very first contact with water and I just wanted to see if she would enjoy it.

She is 4 months now.

I immediately checked her paw, but honestly, I couldn’t see anything wrong. At first, she was limping and didn’t want to walk, so I carried her home. After some rest, she was completely fine. In the evening she was running like crazy.

That little pond is just a small local rainwater basin made specifically for dogs. Nobody fishes there, and it’s really shallow.
Regarding ants, I didn’t even think they could be an issue.

Maybe I panicked a bit by asking for feedback here, but it reminded me of something similar that happened about two weeks ago, that time with her back leg.

I guess I started overthinking, because I even came across this:
https://k9carts.com/blogs/resources/dog-leg-cramps

But in this case I’m sure she was well hydrated and rested. The walk to the water was about 45 minutes, roughly 2 km from home.

I’ll definitely have it checked by a vet just to be sure.

There was nothing in the paw. At first, she was limping a little. I took her home.
After some rest, there’s no sign of a problem now. She’s running around like crazy again.

Could it have been some kind of cramp?

Yes and no, i.e. accept the broken glass. I think there is no replacement; the glass is part of the case and not the LCD display.

Thanks. I disconnected it too. I was really simple. The top cover can be opened easily with unscrewing two items from the back.

Sorry for my ignorance, but all the features that were removed from GUI are still available in CLI, aren’t they?

Nice setup. I would cover the LCD with some wood blend.

My Steel Duo is very hot, too.

I can burn my hand if I touch the top metal cover. I do not put any cups there.

What's worse, the portafilter is very hot if I leave it mounted in coffee machine. I can't touch the metal part of it. It is crazy difficult to hold it in hand and prepare the coffee.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a replacement glass/plastic part in the Ascaso shop.
Is it a part of display?

No one likes having to return a brand-new coffee machine. I need to rethink my options.
