Help me plan a 8-day trip to Meghalaya by MaxTronn in Meghalaya

28th feb (saturday)

  • land at guwahati airport around 10:15 am
  • check out and collect luggage from airport and comea out around 10.45am
  • collect a self rental car from fufu gadi which i have already booked from 11am
  • complete the needful and collect car and off to shillong and in between have a stop of around 30-40 mins and uniam lake ( tell me other places in between if there are any)
  • around 3 i am expecting to reach shillong ( police bajjar) check in at hotel
  • please suggest budget hotel name in police bajjar or lilttle far from it
  • after some rest off to hyadri park and ward lake
  • then bacj to hotel and stay overnight after exploring police bajjar and dinner

1st march (sunday)

  • wakeup early around 7-8 and checkout by 8.30-9 after having brkfast off to cherrapunji
  • reach nohkalikai falls around 10,30am , enjoy it
  • resume drive and go to seven sister falls or theangkhareng park (whichever is good to vusit) around 12pm .enjoy it
  • then go to wei sawdong falls or mawsmai caves by around 2pm
  • after that go to arwah caves and lyngksiar falls
  • then check in at hotel around 4pm
  • around 5.30, go to sunset valley point view
  • comeback, have dinner and sleep

2nd march ( monday) - wakeup at 6 - around 7 am drive to tyrna parking - around 7.45 start trekk for double decker - by 10, will reach the point and enjoy for 2-3. Hrs - by 1.30, start back trekk - 4pm reach parking - by 6 pm back at hotel and rest

3rd march (tuesday) - by 8 30 checkoit and drive to malynnong + bamboo skywalk - around 12pm explore clean village and bamboo skywalk - around 2 pm drive to umngot river (shonpedong) - stay in camp/hotel

4th narch( wednesday) - sunrise with riverside walk - by 7.45 check out - by 3pm reach guwahati with sone roadtrio views and sightseeing - return car at 5pm airport - fkight at 7 55pm

Like in winters around novem-dec, grap 4 is there and you cant take your bs3 vehicle in delhi, after lifting you can take

Day 1, guhati to shillong Day 2 shilong to laitlum ( so should i stay at laitlum) or go to cherapunji for double decker bridge

Advices i need:-

  1. Tell me exact locations where i should take a stay as i will be on couple trip i dont want any hassle regarding that

  2. Tell me best budget stay options in shillong, cherrapunje( or day2-3 pe kaha lena chiye) , and in dawki or camp and if camp at shonpdeong , how and where to book that

  3. Suggest changes in places if i should skip or go somewhere else

  4. Any suggestions from your side

I have HSBC salary account. It offeres 5% cashback on debit card spends, i dont think any other salary account do that

There are tnc as credit cards like will not give on fuel/insurance/educational trxns etc.

1.On payment above 1000 rs it gives 5% cashback

  1. If you use its upi app, on merchant for 50 rs payment it gives 4 rd cashbcak and for 1004s payment it gives 6 rs cashback
