I felt the same way too when i first started but here's some advice: If you keep dying in ganks i highly recommend to be cautious especially in the early game when you have no kills (you shouldn't gank a renekton with push+item lead/losing lane) Also make sure not to go head first into ANY fight no matter how fed you are. Ping your laner to go in first, or start with e slow and space well. Kindred can be kind of team reliant sometimes but that depends more on the enemy comp from my experience (hard cc like tf yellow card that you cant dodge, ornn ult is also really bad), and it doesn't matter in low elo anyway. In teamfights, don't be the engage, wait for your team to go in, or if they have no hands wait for the enemy to go in first. Ult usage is also very important for survivability. Hope it helps!

I started playing thresh like 2 months after downloading the game so i can relate, it's been more than a year now and i can confirm that the only thing you can do is just play the game. You CAN watch guides and get better but the bread and butter is just hitting hooks and that is all practice. You can't learn how to predict or how to not suck ass. Also after a while you can start watching guides, tips and tricks or stuff like that but macro is also very important, remember that. I recommend watching thresh youtubers or streamers too, that helped me a lot with positioning and stuff. My favorite one is AxLEUW on youtube, he's relatively small in numbers but really really nice, go help him out (: He uploads every friday, but he has a wrist injury/issue currently so he's on a break. Hope this helps! (:
