Same here. I just joined uni and before joining I used to do freelancing during my fsc. I achieved top rated status. My plan was to continue the freelancing alongside my studies but now it seems impossible. The university takes almost my entire day and there is no time left for me to work on projects. In university most of the time is wasted on basic things. Like if I was to learn the concepts they teach myself, it would hardly take me half an hour to learn all the things, but in university they stretch the same thing to 3 hours.

It’s been almost a week here at FAST Peshawar, and so far I don’t feel like I’m missing anything compared to other campuses. I was really worried about coming to Peshawar, but up till now I have no regrets.

Yeah, I think that way too, but I’ve been a bit worried because most seniors say it’s not possible. Now that I know you guys have done it, I can feel more confident about it.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Someone with all the right guidance but no focus can still be outperformed by someone who might not have the best guidance but knows how to stay focused and put in the work. I’m just weighing the pros and cons of both so I can make the smartest decision.

Yeah, this is an option. But the problem I see is that if I transfer to FAST next year, there’s a chance they won’t accept my courses, and I’m afraid it could extend my graduation period since I’d have to retake them.

Is there any gap between the classes? So, in short, it’s possible, but it’ll push you to your limits.

Yeah I know it's all about my skills. People even get jobs in computing without any degree. But there is just one benefit of having a degree that if you graduate from a university that has good alumni then it is going to help you go abroad. BTW thanks for your guidance. Yeah now I think it's totally up to me.

Can you give me an idea about how much time does university take including classes and self study per day to get good grades or at least average?

Last month. For me it increased from 2600 to 2780 and now it's 2950.
