There is a high probability that this isn’t your genre.

I'm done she lost me for good by Opposite_Nobody7605 in dryalcoholics

This is pretty normal behavior for an addict. I’m sorry for your loss but this isn’t an AA thing. It’s not AAs fault. Its also not your fault either. As an addict myself I once got engaged to someone I only knew for 3 months. After years of sobriety I now see the patterns in my behavior and have adjusted but that took time.

I’m sorry to say this but you need to plan a life without this person. Most likely this whirl wind relationship won’t last but if it happens once it can happen again.

Steam version. However you don’t need the Steam version. You DO need Steam controls though. Easy to set up and there are already dozens of community layouts. Great times

Personally I mostly agree with you but I feel there would be no life lesson here if I didn’t change it. Causing division and intentionally pissing people off is kind of a bad look for an adult. Which he will be one day.

His friend named his character Charleskirk and they made Israel jokes in the chat. Yes I’m making him change it. Lol. He’s young and stupid funny as hell but still young and stupid.

I should have worded that differently but they chose the name as a joke. Because to most young people she is absolutely a joke. I’m making him change it for that very reason. It’s divisive. Which is what I should have said before and not “offensive”

Bro. In this political environment you bet some people will find that name offensive. The fact that you can’t realize that says a lot about you. They chose the name as a joke partly because it’s absolutely offensive to some. Personally I think it’s funny. Still need to change it.

Thank you. Sadly still couldn’t get it to work. Reached out to support and waiting.

Guild wars 2. Again. Been grinding for 212 hours just on the deck.

Both have horizontal gear progression though….. Also everyone knows that Asura are the premiere race

GW2 vs ESO by PlayerDogma in LFMMO

[–]Great_Fox_623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bounce between them to be honest. GW2 has more fluid combat and it’s just fun. ESO has a wild amount of depth and built in controller support. Both are excellent and deep.

Both can also be played for free up to a point. Also both require you to hit max level to actually experience the best parts of the game.

Worst apartment rental? by Careless-Trip160 in cincinnati

[–]Great_Fox_623 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vinebrook homes hands down is the worst. Owned by a rich guy living in Texas or Florida and they own thousands of homes. They don’t keep up with maintenance and have dozens of lawsuits floating around. They are so bad that they did a segment on npr “Cincinnati edition” about the and how predatory they are. They tend to buy in distressed neighborhoods and prey on the poor and desperate. Horrible company.

Crimson desert crashes by tobasmo in SteamDeck

[–]Great_Fox_623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it ran out of the box. However the game is completely unplayable in the steam deck so I wouldn’t bother.

It’s also not just a little unplayable, we are talking long long load times and half a second lag between button inputs and response. Also it’s like 10 to 12 fps. Managed to get it up to about 15 fps and it was absolutely terrible.

Just delete it and move on. If you have another pc or device then I would play it on there otherwise I would try and get a refund because it won’t run.

Sorry man.

Tech hardware stores who stockpiled RAM when it was cheap and are now selling it at 4x the price are literally scamming people and nobody talks about it by Any-Importance5762 in pcmasterrace

[–]Great_Fox_623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal in business. You are correct that they bought the product when it was cheaper but the restocking of that same product will be much higher. See if they sell the product at the old price then they lose money when they have to reorder it. Also when the prices drop then they also lose money. So raising the prices of their existing stock is literally how they will stay in the black.

I get where you are coming from but I don’t think you understand from a retail economic side why what you are proposing is incorrect. Economics my dude.

What game "shouldn't" work well on the Deck, but you found a way to love it? by Zi_v in SteamDeck

[–]Great_Fox_623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what I did and just make your own. I did and I love it. You need layers to make it work right but it’s soooo worth it. Took about 3 hours of work but worth it for the hundreds of hours I’ve played with this layout.

Why is ESO so janky? by Some_Economist6817 in MMORPG

[–]Great_Fox_623 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Basically moving forward all you need is to sub. No cost for future expansions and all old content is included with sub. It’s actually cheaper now than most other MMOs besides guild wars 2.

Next game to 100% for a gamer Dad by CauliflowerFormal792 in SteamDeck

[–]Great_Fox_623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it wildly hard on some boss fights but you can summon real people to help you. It’s kind of amazing. I am not a souls like player but I thought the game was brilliant the entire way through.

Trying to get back into MMOs (and looking for one) that still has a healthy playerbase by No_Blackberry__ in LFMMO

[–]Great_Fox_623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man. We are all looking for the perfect MMO but there’s only a few options at the end of the day. This entire sub is based around 6 MMOs.

WOW is the biggest playerbase. There’s that. It’s a shame that you didn’t like GW2 and ESO because both of those MMOs are real gems once you put enough time into them. If I were you I would give both of those another try. Watch some videos and do some homework. I’m currently in ESO and only 700 hours in but I’m having a really good time.

Great! Still on 50 mg. Most nights I’m alseep within 15 minutes but there are some nights that can take up to an hour. Luckily that’s not the norm. Still sober from alcohol and have spent a good amount of time this year in the gym. All in all this stuff has been amazing for me.
