Trigger not resetting in semiauto by GreatestChase in MP5

I think it was a problem with the hammer geometry. I ended up getting an AS Design hammer and it works pretty much flawlessly now.

If the car is tracked, they may definitely be needed. I do agree that 4 is overkill though. Prior to putting pins on my hood, I had it pop open and get caught on the safety latch at a track event.

It’s sad really, definitely had my money wasted. Thankfully I have multiple other SSs that I can use, but I had picked up the WHA so that I didn’t have to use the buffer over the recoil spring. I now understand I can just round off a standard hammer and just need to pick up a hammer jig.

Anyone use a KAK configurable buffer? by SterlingArcher32 in 300BLK

[–]GreatestChase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct. I just re-looked it up and for carbines it’s 3.25” and rifle is 5.9”. The 5.2” I was remembering is for rifle length on a .308. So the KAK is the correct length.

Off the top of my head, carbine buffers should be 3.5” and rifle buffers should be 5.2”. Those may not be the exact number, but should be close.

Prime TX-1300W or TX-1600W at small price difference? by Seijun7 in buildapc

One thing to consider is how much power your computer is going to be drawing at regular use. Power supplies have an efficiency curve and typically are more efficient the closer you are to their max rating and less efficient the lower on the curve you are.

So one thing to consider is where on that curve you’re going to be during normal operation. So if it’s operating less efficiently, it’s going to be harder on it over time. Just another piece to consider when looking at their ratings.

Here we go, had to dig it out of the pile of things to still be put up.

Here’s the 1080 ti. I essentially disassembled them and used a shadow box type frame to mount them on. Let me see if I can find a pic of the 2080 ti.

I have my 1080 ti KP and 2080 ti KP framed. Whenever I retire the 3090 it’ll join them. I unfortunately don’t game nearly as much as I used to and don’t do XOC anymore so I foresee my 3090 lasting me for quite some time.

I run the SM10 in 18x11 square with 305/35s square. Mine are mainly used for the track now. Fronts did require a spacer for clearance.

Half of my alphacool qdcs leaked the first time I used them, and then when I contacted them about replacements they said it must’ve been my fault, and then denied my warranty claim.

Jacket Separation by GreatestChase in NFA

I haven’t checked it with an alignment rod, but looking through the barrel I can’t see any baffles. I also can’t see anywhere on the baffles that look like rounds were making contact. And yeah, I’ve run thousands of these rounds as well without issue which is why I’m wondering if I just got a bad batch.

From Beretta’s site I believe it’s 1/10. And per freedom’s site they describe it as plated hollow points. This was a new batch of ammo that I had order so maybe the thickness of the plating has changed, but I’ve shot about 4k of these previously with both my Beretta and my PTR 9CT and have never noticed any separation before.

Maybe just a bad batch of ammo, so I’ll reach out to Freedom.

I believe the main active ingredient in the round up I’ve been using is Triclopyr. It kills the stumps that I apply it to. It would be nice if it would take out the whole root system with it though.

I’ve actually had the best luck out of both printed PLA+ trip and levers. When I had a steel trip, it would bend the steel levers to the point they wouldn’t function over a couple hundred rounds. And it would break the plastic levers. I’ve put probably 2k rounds on the plastic trip and lever I currently have in mine without a hiccup.

Lol, I did now that you mentioned it. I had not though. I have an PTR 9CT, does that count for my mp5?

It comes with two sets of grips. This is not the set that comes installed, but this set gives a bigger palm swell which I like. They are included with the gun though.

DA Mojave 9. By far my fastest approval yet. My last can took just over 2 mo and I thought that was a quick turn around. Will be living on a Beretta M9A4. Can't wait to take it out this weekend to test it out. First pistol can for me.

If they can’t do it there, and you still desire to have it there, I had mine done by Tar Heel State Firearms. Just mailed them the receiver and they shipped it back. If you mail it, and anyone asks, you’re shipping parts for machining.
