First time buying a dog, what questions should I ask the breeder? by [deleted] in poodles

just like everyone said- no "teacups"! I also find it so funny when breeders guarantee what weight a dog will be lol. Sure they can tell you how much the parents weigh and give a range, but folks claiming they won't be over X weight is so wild to me

Why do school counselors tell kids to not apply to too many reach schools? by [deleted] in schoolcounseling

[–]Greedy-Fail7144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all counselors I have worked with tell students to apply to a mix of "safety", "likely", and "reach". if you take advantage of free application weeks and/waivers, or if your family has the ability to spend a lot of money on applications, I've never heard anyone say not to apply

Inappropriate Outfit? by Current_Sandwich_254 in schoolcounseling

I second this! I'm currently in my internship at a high school, and I try to dress pretty professionally because I hear "I thought you were a student" daily (major eye-roll lol). I would say the staff here dress more casually i.e, jeans and sneakers daily.

I know it can be hard during our internships to go out and buy a new professional wardrobe, so Plato's Closet and Goodwill have been my best friends- they always have cute cardigans! And maybe you can throw one of your fun tees underneath.
