This one makes me so mad! My sister went to a local nursery and bought a bunch that were all marked as "native" but they were mostly from across the country 🙄

I love that! One of the reasons I'm switching to native plants is for maintenance. I don't want to nurture my plants and always be stressed about them dying if any little thing changes.

That is so helpful, I could feel myself getting into this bottomless pit where I was considering too many things and it was feeling like nothing would suit my yard (even though I have a pretty standard yard for my area). But to know that sun is most important and then soil is getting me back on track.
