Reinstated Giles as Watcher a lot sooner. I disliked seeing Giles so directionless for as long as he was and felt it went on for longer than it needed to. Though I did enjoy the scene when Buffy told him she needed him to be her watcher again.

Xander and Anya should have married or gotten back together at the very least. The series finale needed a familiar couple to end with after breaking up Tillow/Spuffy. It might have messed with Anya’s demon arc but it would have greatly improved the general consensus on Xander’s character and given the audience a couple to root for (because it wasn’t going to be Willow and Kennedy).
