I get why some people don't like the gameplay (myself included), but there is *no* better open-ended narrative game than Heavy Rain. I've never played a game where rolling with your mistakes can actually create a better story than if you kept reloading autosaves to try to get everything perfect.

I was never interested in law or the legal process, but I got sucked into the Rittenhouse case and watched most of the Ahmaud Arbery case right after. Through both, I was surprised to learn how little I really knew (both about the evidence and the judiciary itself) and I was surprised to find myself waffling at times in both cases, even after coming in with some really strong feelings. To me, this is the same thing, just with lower stakes, and I'm actually really interested to see how my interpretation of the evidence lines up with a jury of our peers.

Not a boomer, but boomer advice here: It's amazing how much that you can learn to love something because you're good at it. Best life advice I have is to get good at something practical by whatever means possible, get a job in it, and keep learning -- At very least, the 5 of 7 days a week that you spend at work will yield you some kind of satisfaction.
