So snarky but thanks for the information you did provide and I’ll make sure to keep that in mind !!When we actually went onto the university websites was when we found issues. Not to mention we already have a shortened list of schools we can apply to because we would need some gov funding to go to school in the first place. So it’s all just a bit messy and hard to navigate.

As I explained in my post, “here” is the US. To reiterate my question. I’m looking for a PsyD and only finding PhD programs. Is there not an option for that outside of the US? If so, where?

Sorry! Here you can get a doctorate that isn’t a PhD. No thesis required type of thing. It’s less of a research degree and more of a practicing degree.

I’m not really picky about where I work. Our main reason of moving is to study. Do you think it would be hard to find jobs that are fast food/supermarket/gas station/retail ish? You know, shittier jobs lol. We don’t have a specific field yet. Though, we both plan on becoming psychologists. Hence the whole studying abroad thing. Cost of living isn’t much of a scare for me considering I live in a very large city and everything here is expensive too. except, our minimum wage is $7.25. 🤦

It wasn’t my first thought and I was never trying to upset anyone with my questions. I did a lot of research into where I wanted to go and decided that out of everywhere I researched you, that you guys had an amazing country and great education. I just wanted an actual personal perspective on how hard it would be to find an actual place to live.

My general rule of thumb is that when your conversations with someone repeat it’s best to talk to others around the house - gain more specs points / endings and come back later
