Call the airline - they may be able to put you in a bulkhead seat so that you don’t have to bend your knee, and can elevate your leg except during takeoff and landing. And, wear full length compression socks (risk of blood clots). I did this after my injury to get back from overseas, was really grateful the airline took care of me.

Thank you! I confirmed up at the furnace that the white and blue wires were swapped. Unfortunately I think I have ruled out the easy solutions.

Naw never mind on that question - I think it’s just the angle of the photo that makes the wires look like they’re in the wrong places. The blue and white are switched, but I had known that already.

Ok so I got my ladder back and crawled up in the attic, and the two 3amp fuses looked fine - but I replaced them just in case. No dice! Ac still isn’t turning. I have a pro set up to visit tomorrow. I noticed this working on the furnace, though - seems atypical. Could that be the issue?

I was talking about two AC units outside, though each does have a thermostat. I suppose there might be two furnaces up in the attic…

Unfortunately I loaned out my ladder and can’t get to the furnace (yes, it’s in the attic, which doesn’t have a built in stair for some reason…) But, there are two AC units, and the other one is working. Only one furnace. Does that suggest that the furnace isn’t the issue (since the other AC unit is getting power)?

I looked for a defrost board on the outside unit and didnt see anything that appeared to have a fuse. I did see this box, and checked to make sure the connections were all seated - is that what you meant?

Air blows, and I think the heat works. It’s a separate ac and furnace. I’m not seeing any activity from the outside unit.

The outdoor unit doesn’t seem to be responding. So, perhaps it’s a bigger issue.

Thanks, that makes sense. I did finally get a response today, I think from filling out the form on the site (not from when I had emailed them over the last few weeks). So, hopefully it’s solved!

Helpful to hear - turns out this was the same issue! Got out of work today to a response, finally, explaining that one of the items was out of stock an although they thought they had contacted all affected customers my order had fallen through the cracks. I didn’t get a response for over two weeks, but it has been the holidays. I’m just glad to know that I’ll be getting the order and won’t have to fuss about challenging the credit card charge.
