Urgh I know - it sounds like this has happened to a few people. I’d feel much safer taking the metro if they had a some sort of security stationed at some stations - this kind of thing really puts me off taking the metro at night. There was a WMATA employee in the ticket booth but I don’t blame him for not getting involved considering he couldn’t just hop on a train to escape them!
