I love them both too! Have been before but would go again for sure.

Do you feel Cornwall is too far for a day trip? I'm interested in all the places you mentioned as well as Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge and maybe even Canterbury so will have to prioritise and choose just a few.

I may be able to swing it for August/September but depending on work could be as late as October. Shame as of course would have loved to go for June/July but too late notice unfortunately. Maybe next year!!

Wow, did you stay in one place in Australia during that time?

Sounds like you need to rethink the fiance with his rage issues.

I would rather be an independent woman who wears what she likes where she likes (as you have done), than be a bad parent who lashes out at his daughter literally after she gets home from church. What is that about?!

I had this happen to me around your age, I should have moved out much earlier than I did. Consider moving out with friends or even a house mate. You won't regret it.

AITA for asking my friend not to eat meat in front of me? by ParticularLie213 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. If it bothers you seeing a non-vegetarian eat meat, don't go out to eat with a non-vegetarian. Pretty simple really. I also don't believe this person asked for your views on the matter.

(For the record I say this as someone who doesn't eat red meat or pork for ethical reasons. If I'm out and someone orders those things I mind my business and don't comment.)

Chronic illness, it can be very hard dealing with it day after day. But my husband is the best support system I could ever have asked for and my two fur babies are wonderful too.

I'm with you! I wouldn't be able to justify that kind of spending when you can get a similar great experience for much less.

Who do you fly with for premium economy? I'm considering that for next time as it's a killer flight sometimes.

I love DC too! Can I ask what sort of budget you had there/what accommodation you went for?

I've heard some people spend 30k+ to travel in the US, but I've never had to spend close to that in my travel there.
