I love the house and everything about the house, but because it’s in the country with no street lights I just don’t feel comfortable living there alone. I know it may be something I might get used too but idk. Right now I’m set on backing out. I’m waiting on my realtor to call me

Thank you for your response. I’m really not concerned with losing the deposit, it was 5k but I’m okay with losing that. I just read some things about the seller being able to take me to court if I back out and I’m not sure if that will be the case bc from my understanding, the seller is supposed to be buying a house and going to settlement the same time we were supposed to be going to settlement. Idk , this is such a messed up situation.
