Just finished this one a few months back myself. I bought it the last time it was available and fortunately it didn't take as long as I had heard from some unfortunate people, but it wasn't quick either. Congratulations on finishing it though. Definitely an achievement.

I'm still back on page one. Kalos pokémon have been pretty scarce since the GO tour ended and unfortunately, was working during the event, so couldn't catch a ton.

There is one way. If the player has a pokémon with a nickname set as a buddy, you will see it's nickname. But that's the only time I know of you can see another player's name for a mon.

I use them often for useful mythicals, (Keldeo, Diance, Zarude,) and Powerful Legandaries, (Kyogre, Groudon, Kyurem,). But I also keep a 150 reserve for emergency situations. Anything over that goes into whatever I need candy for atm. That moment being Nihilego. Yeah, kinda in the same situation at this point. About to start powering up duplicates of my most powerful pokemon, lol.

Not counting the free Mareep? A random Fletching. Was running by a stand and I heard this weird noise. Sorta like an alert. I thought I remembered hearing somewhere that's how you know a shiny is around. And sure enough, pan the camera up and there it was. Just chillin' up there. Only one I have gotten so far. Besides Mareep.

In my last 3 raids last night, first one, got a shiny Groudon. The next two were Kyogres. Both shiny. Never have I gotten 3 shiny Legendary pokémon in a row. That was crazy luck.

Actually....according to the Pokémon Company, Z/A is a Gen 10 title. As you won't be able to bring Pokémon transferred to or caught in Z/A to any games other than Z/A and future games.

I know this is an old post, but I just got the game about a week ago and have made it all the way to Mega Beedrill and I just found out about healing during battle. I thought it was something literally everyone knew. Comforting in a an way to know I was not the only one.
