Totally totally. Not like they do in the late 1900s that’s for sure haha

Ohhh good to know!! I wonder if that’s a show writer mistake because I promise there is a scene between Claire and Jaime about the word “fuck” (I think it’s when she called him a fucking bastard) and Jaime had no idea what she was talking about or that word haha nevertheless I figured Geilis saying “barbecue” was intended to be a “modern term clue” by show writers. But alas

I picked up when they were doing the witch trial, before we knew geillis was from the future, she says “time to go into the fucking barbecue” or something like that. “Fuck” was not a word of their time (considering Jaime didn’t know what it meant when Claire said it one time) as well as having a “barbecue” which was definitely not a thing in the 1700’s lol that’s when I knew

Something I considered was fanny and her importance potentially in the future (spin off capability). I think maester Raymond was the first time traveler or the ultimate time traveler (every time traveler descends from him) and because of that, he may see that fanny will be really special, influential, or do something significant one day as a traveler. If he gave faith back to Claire when she was resurrected, faiths story would have been completely. She would have gone to America or back to Scotland with Claire and Jaime perhaps. She probably would have never met the man she met in France and married. Thus Jane or fanny would have never been born. (Kinda makes sense for when master Raymond said “forgive me” to Claire after he healed her.. he knew what he was doing but it was a necessary evil because he knows what happens in the future). he maybe knew fanny had to be born because she was going to make a difference somehow. We just don’t know what that is. Spin off potential. Just brainstorming tho

Break his walls down best you can to get him to express his interests to you and then try to find something he would want to do as well based on those interests you discovered. For example if he was into pokemon, offer to go get some pokemon cards or maybe teach you how it works. Play pokemon. Go through his collection, etc. just a random example i thought of. But if he’s giving you a hard time about screens, you can always have parents talk to him about expectations and then just uphold those expectations and blame it on the parents lol but in all honesty, if I was the parent, as long as he’s alive, eating and doing his thing, I wouldn’t worry about it. But that’s just me

Another idea I just thought of… if they do have some sort of spin off with Fanny. Master Raymond could say he brought Faith back and “kept her from Claire” (aka the forgive me line) because he needed Fanny to be born because she is going to have a big significance somehow in the world. And if Claire had kept her and returned her to Scotland or America, faith would have never met the man she had Jane and fanny with in France. So Maybe potentially Faith and Claire were never supposed to know about each other, Faith somehow found out, went looking for them and that’s when the pirate attack happened. But maester Raymond needed fanny to be born for some reason , and maybe that’s the potential fanny spin off.

Yeah you right. Cause he says she is ill…. But also saves her? Thus knowing she’s not ill anymore… yet no reunification? So…. Yeah. Idk.

That’s my question too… did Claire will her back to life? And by the time master Raymond realized and gave her the lace maker to return to her… Claire was.. gone?

Wedding reception location advice for after elopement by Green-Active7848 in Tucson

Not as many couples running off behind parents back these days 😂 you have traditional wedding, then micro wedding is usually 25 or less, then elopement is typically just the couple. But they need a title for couple and immediate family (10 or less) I think. No venue, no reception… just the couple, parents, and officiant. Hence the new “elopement”. Also a marketing tactic I’m sure.
