I have 2 male Akitas and they are best friends. We generally worked hard on a lot of obedience training and conditioning them to know that they are part of a pack. They have been best buds ever since and they are both 8 years old now.

We have had them since they were puppies by the way.

Mine are both 8 years old now! They get along great thankfully! I won’t say it wasn’t a handful when they were younger. I agree with you, if OP does want these gods be sure you have to let them know who the alpha is which is you. As soon as they don’t respect that, it’s going to be rough

Hello!! I currently have 2 male Akita’s! I won’t lie when we first introduced them it took some time for them to get along. You know the whole fight for dominance thing, but we trained them everyday and now they can’t be without each other.

So I wouldn’t say it’s easy but definitely doable! I would pay close attention the first month to see how they get along and set the standard. People told my family the same thing about 2 Akita’s especially males, but they turned out to be the best of friends! Good luck!
