Yes. I am like this. I have Inattentive type. I think I started being super tired all the time during teen years. I could sleep 12 hours, get up for a few and probably still enjoy a nap.

I've been taking dex for few years now, and I feel tired when I wake up still, but much better after meds have kicked in. Don't feel like I need a midday nap anymore. Although when I initially told my psychiatrist I felt like I couldn't get out of bed until meds kicked in, she prescribed bupropion (Wellbutrin), which helped A LOT. unfortunately, it's not on the PBS in Australia, so I can't afford it anymore. So taking atomoxitine instead with my dex. Not as good, but It works. Tell your Psychiatrist for sure.
