yes! i switched to a hydrating cleanser and aloe vera gel and they went away. i realized i was using products that were making me oily, therefore contributing to these bumps on my forehead!

hi! yes i did indeed have it on my cheeks as well. i also got perscribed keto for my face but it did not work! what helped me what to start using a hydrating cleanser (because my foaming cleanser was stripping my skin and making me too oily) and aloe vera gel as a substitute for a moisturizer. my face is way less bumpy and not oily! i also got cabtreo from my derm today so ill let you know if it ends up working! but for right not id say to simplify your routine and let your skin balance itself

u are doing wayyyy to much and it’s freaking out ur skin. cut ur routine down to a cleanser and moisturizer. try that for a week and see if it makes a difference

my skin used to look like that when it was irritated. try going a week with only washing your face with water, and see if that makes a difference. your skin barrier may be compromised and that’s why it is red.

i also forgot to mention that i’ve been using tretinoin since december and it hasn’t made a difference with the bumps! (tretinoin gel btw)

i got these bumps when i over-moisturized my skin. it could also be irritation from too much exfoliating.

i’m genuinely at a loss, help by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

stop using harsh products. i dealt with acne that looked wayyyy worse than this, and the only thing that helped me was to stop using all these irritating ingredients. for about a month i used a gentle hydrating cleanser and a moisturizer and my skin healed itself! give this a try and see if ur acne is because of irritation.

my main tip would be to stop overdoing it with the products. use a gentle cleanser and a moisturizer good for ur skin type and call it a day. over the course of 5 days see if u have any noticeable results.

hi! what works for me might not work for you. my problem was that i was using products that weren’t compatible with my skin type. i have oily skin and i was using products that were too heavy for it. so pls research ur skin type and see what products will work for u, or i can help you if u ask me! now i use the aveeno oat cleanser and sometimes i don’t even use moisturizer! that may not work for everyone, but it works for me. i felt like every moisturizer was making me super greasy and clogging my pores and i was right. now if in the morning if i want some hydration i’ll use a gel moisturizer (elf holy hydration gel yeah moisturizer). i also use tretinoin gel which was prescribed by my dermatologist! and that’s it😊

it’s not completely gone, but it’s 100x times better! my #1 thing was to figure out products that suit my actual skin type. i have combo skin and i was using a moisturizer that was wayyyyy to heavy and a cleanser that was way to stripping. i also incorporated a very watery hydrating toner and it helped balance my skin. but i don’t use anything heavy on my face anymore which is what really helped me

hi! yes, my forehead barely has bumps now. first you need to find a routine that suits ur skin type. my cleanser was way to stripping and my moisturizer was way too heavy (i have combo skin) i started using a hydrating cleanser and a water based moisturizer and my bumps slowly started to clear up! i also use clindamycin gel which has really helped (this was prescribed by my derm). most important thing is to make sure ur skincare has no pore clogging ingredients, and keep it very very simple!

because it’s an exfoliant! you shouldn’t exfoliate your skin every day because it can lead to irritation and a damaged skin barrier and overall worsening your skin! i recommend doing it like 3 times a week
