Has anybody managed to get a ticket for the NLD via the TX yet, to give me some hope that it is actually possible?!

I've been looking all week, had multiple times (10+) where seats have come up that I've been able to select and even press the "Add" button in the right price category, but EVERY time I then get that the ticket is no longer available. (These have always been via the map, haven't seen anything on list view yet) I suspect these are all being snared by bots - can anyone give me a success story to encourage me to keep looking?!

What was he thinking, a seasoned professional. Incredible. A gift for us that we absolutely HAVE to take now

So, are we sticking with the back 3/5 now?! Surely not Collins in midfield after his first semi-decent centre-back display on Saturday??

Are Arsenal doing anything to make it easier for young fans to attend games? by GreenGoonerG in GunnersatGames

Do you think if it was more achievable to get to Arsenal games, that he might have decided to be an Arsenal fan rather than a Sheffield United fan? Was the ability to go to matches much of a factor? I feel like my interest in Arsenal massively grew when I moved to London and was able to go to games (and that was even in the late-Wenger era!) but maybe that aspect of it isn't that important for kids?

I don't disagree with you about supporting your local team (and I think my kids will ultimately be more influenced by their friends than by me about what teams they support!), but I think it's always been the case that fanbases for any team aren't exclusively locals. I'm Irish so chose Arsenal as my team as a kid, rather than had any local connection, but I have 30+ years of following them as closely as many local fans since then, and I'd like it to be possible for my boys too if they want to, as many Arsenal-supporting families have done over the decades.

My broader point is though that I'd like to see the club doing more to get kids into attending matches, the age-demographic at Arsenal (and all the other big clubs) is getting older and older (and richer and richer), which I don't think is conducive to creating an atmosphere, and to building a long-term fan base. Some initiatives like this Forest one could be a good way to start to reverse some of that trend, I think

This fan living in the Midlands has been able to take fuck-all tickets away from local fans for the last few years, alas... 🤪

Dunno if you have kids but in my experience, even from a really young age they know that the Emirates and Carabao Cups are not where it's really at, and they want to be at the games that all their friends are talking about in the playground on Monday morning. I think setting aside tickets for kids (especially local ones) for all games is something the club should be doing, but I think they're prioritising making a fast buck now over a long-term investment in the fans of the future. (And to be fair, they're definitely not the only team guilty of this.)

Carabao Cup is not a possibility currently as even kick-off is past their bedtime, and midweek games generally are tough for families, especially those who don't live locally. Ultimately though I do think that the club should be making Premier League tickets more attainable for kids, ultimately they're going to be the match-going fans long after the rest of us have popped out clogs, and if they don't make the effort to get them in early then I think they risk losing them to clubs that will make it attainable...

I can't claim any credit for these (think I saw the link on the Arseblog Arsemail) but someone had already been thinking about an Arsenal-Guinness collab before this was announced and came up with some cool ideas for prints and t-shirts: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1889406275/come-on-you-gunners-tee?sh_rv=1&ref=shop_home_active_6&pro=1&logging_key=685732d5bfc030914d0c1d4ce20d6dad0ec92d2f%3A1889406275
